Nothing beats a home away from home and this is exactly what Emily’s is, everything is so comfortable and welcoming! Susan’s hospitality is outstanding, breakfast was amazing!

Such a beautiful old home with a beautiful story behind it!! Susan was a fabulous host and the food was incredible!!! Did the valentine package with a massage that was fantastic! Will definitely be going back!!

My husband and I stayed at the Inn in the fall, we stayed in in Emily’s room. It has taken me awhile to post this review but I really wanted to share our experience. The house is warm and cozy, and very clean. Susan, is a wonderful hostess. We spent quite a while talking to her about her mother-in-law “Emily” and the history of the 100+ year old farmhouse. What a wonderful tribute to Emily that the family has turned her home into a bed and breakfast. We enjoyed the evening sunset on the swing out back. It is so peaceful and quiet there. The breakfast that Susan makes is AMAZING! Homemade biscuits, homemade cinnamon rolls, sausage, bacon, eggs, hash browns, bowl of fresh fruit with honey drizzled over it and homemade strawberry jam and pumpkin butter and pear jam All of the food is locally sourced and they even make their own honey. We had such a lovely time at Emily’s. When we are in the area again for another hiking trip, we will definitely stay here.

Stayed here with family over Labor Day weekend. The house was beautiful and welcoming. Susan was a wonderful host. She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool table and outdoor grill made for a relaxing evening, and Susan's homemade cinnamon rolls in the morning were heavenly. The location was prefect for us to go and explore the Red River Gorge. If we are ever in the area we will be sure to stay at Emily's Welcome Inn!

​We went to Kentucky for some hiking and an anniversary getaway. Staying at Emily's was such a good decision! The house and grounds were comfortable, peaceful, and interesting. Susan, the innkeeper, made such delicious food with generous portions, accommodating our request for meatless dishes. She made us feel at home. We would definitely recommend Emily's for a relaxing stay.
